It’s a small Kawai van decorated and painted nicely parked in the street of Harajuku just behind Tokyo Plaza. The name is Chicken over Rice operated by Mr Halal. This van/food truck serves Halal certified meals. The Halal certificate is pasted just at their main window. Their business timings are from 11:00-20:00. What do they serve? They have deliciously seasoned Halal certified chicken over rice which is tasty, healthy and spicy. They have categories among it like Tokyo size, NY size. They also have Brooklyn chicken soup which is just for 380 Yen, very cheap and tasty. Soup can be made as spicy or regular. It has chunks of chicken and lettuce and tomatoes. What’s the difference? They use Basmati rice instead of Japanese rice. They use amazingly fragrant yellow colour Basmati rice which is topped with grilled Chicken, salad and their homemade sauces.

Apart from serving Tokyo on wheels, they are also ion catering services and arrange events or parties. If you can't visit them, can order online as well as they also have the service of food deliveries. As the weather is changing, they started selling Dalgona coffee as well. It's highly recommended spot in Harajuku to enjoy great Halal chicken over rice. I assure you with every mouthful you will be craving more. It is a true New York food truck experience in Tokyo in amazing different styles.
