Venu’s South Indian dining is the name of one South Indian restaurant which is very popular around Tokyo. This restaurant is about 3-4 minutes walk from Okachimachi station and is very popular around that area. It is a big restaurant with a 2-floor dining area. A big Halal mark is outside the restaurant. The chefs are also South Indian, that's why the dishes are known for their authenticity.

The day I visited, it was very crowded and this made me dine in at their restaurant. They had a great big menu. I ordered a set A from their lunch menu which is a kind of thali with a lot of dishes in the set. The set prices were really affordable with the amount of food they gave in their sets. Set A included: rice, naan /poori/Dosa, sweet dish, Vada, papad, rasam , lentils and spinach curry, mixed vegetable curry, sambar and lassi. I really liked the way it was served. And the taste was good too, I personally loved their rasam which is known as a kind of South Indian soup. And secondly, I loved their Sambar. All the other items were also good but I will give 100/100 for their amazing Rasam. Everything was served fresh and hot.

Overall, a good experience and must try once and I will definitely visit them again to see their amazing non vegetarian dishes and their Dosa. I don’t know much about South Indian cuisine but I must say delicious hot South Indian cuisines at this restaurant.
