Nakano city is a special ward in Tokyo. Nakano is just a few steps away from Shinjuku.
I found one Halal Uzbek restaurant in Nakano near the station named as VATANIM. This restaurant is about a 7-minute walking distance from Araiyakushi-mae station. This restaurant is Halal certified and it is an authentic Uzbek restaurant that serves only Uzbek dishes.

It was my first time trying any Uzbek dishes. I was very worried about the menu, so I first ordered their naan which looked very different from regular naans found in other restaurants.
When the naan came, I was so mesmerized, it looked totally different, very beautifully cooked and shaped naan with black sesame seeds over it. It was so yummy, I felt like I was eating fluffy soft thick bread. It was very delicious and unique. Later I ordered one more thing from their menu, It was a kind of meat pie.

The most beautiful pie I had ever seen. It was such a beautifully shaped pie which was served very hot, the steam was coming out from it. It was freshly baked. The layers of the pie were perfectly shaped. The pie’s filling was minced lamb. It was so delicious, I can't even describe the taste in my words like it was just out of this world. Superb taste, the spices were mild but so good. Worth eating in this restaurant. They have more Uzbek dishes in their restaurant.

I'm definitely going again to enjoy this Uzbek cuisine. The staff was very friendly and very kind.
Authentic, delicious Uzbek cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended restaurant around Nakano.
