HALAL tempura bowl at TENDON ITSUKI !

In Japan a bowl of tempura and rice is known as Tendon. It is filled with different kinds of tempuras (vegetables, egg, fish, chicken or shrimp) and on top usually there is a tendon sauce which is sweet. It is eaten with Japanese traditional soup known as Miso soup and even Chawan Mushi (steamed egg custard type). It is very hard to find such Japanese Tendon bowls which are 100% HALAL. But in Ginza there is one Halal certified restaurant, “TENDON ITSUKI” Which serves Halal tendon bowl. It is about 3-minut walk from Yurakucho station and even near to Ginza station. It is located in GINZA INZ 1 on the 2nd floor. The prices are reasonable as it starts from 1000 yen to 2000 yen. They have the menu in 3 different languages, English, Chinese and Japanese. I was there around lunch hours and I ordered a set which was around 1300 yen. The sitting arrangement is good and very cosy and quite atmosphere. You can watch your meal prepared just in front of you. You can enjoy how it is made from frying of tempuras till how it is placed in a bowl. I waited hardly for 5 minutes and my hot meal was served. The beauty of the bowl was so amazing with lot of tempuras over it. It was served with miso soup and steamed egg savoury type flavour dish and yes pickle bowl was placed on the table which was free and can be eaten as much as u can. In my set there were 4 vegetables, 1 half cooked egg, 1 shrimp and 1 fish. The tendon sauce was so yummy, that I even added more while eating. Steamed egg had chicken and mushroom inside it and miso soup was good too. The overall set was very delicious, and good portion size for a person in very reasonable price. The staff of this restaurant is very friendly too. I highly recommend this restaurant as it is Halal certified plus the food is so delicious. This is my most favourite stop whenever I will visit Ginza.
