You MUST TRY this Halal Indoesian Restaurant in Japan! - Cinta Jawa Cafe - Akihabara, Shibuya, Yokohama

There are a lot of Indonesian cuisine restaurants in Japan but our favorite until now is Cinta Jawa Cafe! We went to the Yokohama branch and our experience was absolutely fantastic there!

We went there during lunchtime. You have to take the stairs to go to the restaurant on the 2nd floor. The restaurant had a calm vibe and the interior decoration was also soothing. Soft music was playing in the background. We were offered the menus and ordered the Nasi Goreng Campur Set menu which was 1150 yen, all-inclusive. After our order, the waiter gave us a complimentary chicken soup and a salad. The chicken soup was refreshing and had a mild taste with bits of chicken meat. We were able to get freshen up from the nice washroom while waiting for the food to arrive.

The food came after 5-8 minutes. We were thrilled to see the decoration of the food, it looked scrumptious. The set menu had Indonesian Fried Chicken, Fried Rice with a poached egg on top, Rolls, vegetables with peanut chutney, a shrimp cracker along with a drink. I took the cold coffee. All of these items are 100% Halal. I absolutely loved the taste of all the dishes, especially the crispy fried chicken. The fried rice was full of flavors, the salad was refreshing and the roll was really tasty. I would rate the overall dish 8.5/10.

The restaurant also has a praying space! You can say your prayer when you go there for lunch or dinner! This was such a nice addition!

The service was also great. We asked for an electric socket to charge our phone and they help us charge phone. If you ever crave authentic Halal Indonesian food in Japan, you can try Cinta Jawa Cafe! They have branches in Shibuya, Akihabara, Yokohama and Kanagawa! Their Yokohama branch has 48 seats and they accept electronic payment and credit cards as well!
