Asakusa is one of the most famous tourist locations in Japan and is very well known for Sensoji temple. In Asakusa many Halal restaurants can be found, mostly kebabs or Asian restaurants like Indian or Pakistani cuisines. But it's hard to find something different other than these.

Well, I found one place for Muslims to dine in and the name of the café is THE FARM CAFE. It is located in Asakusa and about 1 minute far from exit 5 of Asakusa station on the Tokyo metro Ginza line. Also 1 minute walk from Asakusa station on the Tobu sky Tree line and 4 minutes' walk from exit A3 of Asakusa station on the Toei Asakusa line. It is a vegan café. They use all vegetable ingredients in their menu. In addition, all food additives are not used and white sugar is also not used. They use coconut oil for frying or in their other dishes. It is a whole vegan restaurant in Asakusa.

I was in Asakusa and wanted to find something different where I could have my lunch. Suddenly I saw a sign board with the sign HALAL OKAY! It attracted me and I went to the café. The menu was placed outside on the tables and everything was mentioned as meat free, all vegan etc. But still I was very curious to know what the inside kitchen says about the food. Luckily the manager of the café was there, so I was able to clear my doubts and ask about all the food dishes at their restaurant. Upon asking I came to know all their dishes are very much safe for Muslims all the food! Yes, the whole menu. They don't even use alcohol in their dishes.

They had burgers, curries and Japanese food in their menu. I wanted to try the tendon, so I ordered their veg tendon set in regular size. The food that I ordered was good, I don’t like it much, maybe because of the brown rice but those who love brown rice will enjoy their food.

The café is at an amazing spot as the Sky Tree can be seen from there. Small but good café. The price ranges are high according to me, with small portions. It is totally vegan so it is expensive compared to other regular restaurants/cafes. Next time I will love to try their burgers whenever I visit Asakusa.
