Shin-Okubu station is one of the famous stations where there are many halal foods shops available. Many Muslims and non-Muslims has their shops their and sell many items which are Halal. BARAHI FOOD AND SPICE is one of the oldest shops in Shin-okubu. It is a small shop offering mostly Indian groceries. It is just 2 min walk from Shin-okubu station. I went to Shin-Okubu to find one specific item. I saw this small shop. I was very happy to see fresh coriander leaves at this shop and it was just 100 yen. They had fresh dill leaves as well. As it is an Indian Store, there were many things from India, Nepal etc but all item were Halal. They had Halal meat in their shop as well. Their shop had almost everything a Muslim need. I ended up buying so many Indian items which were Halal. They have a good collection of Indian spices and even sweets. Other than food items they have other items as well like toothpastes, hair oils, body sprays, ointments like balm, Vicks, facewashes, Indian bangles etc. The prices were regular like other shops. Other than Indian items they have many imported items as well. Those who are looking for typical Indian or south Asian products, they must visit this small shop.
